Come to Karaoke Idol on Thursday
It’s fun
I’m a judge
I’m fun
All the door money goes to the competitors, who represent non-profits. Charities, tutoring programs, independent litjournals… We have a pretty wide meaning of “not-for-profit.” Karaoke Idol…
Jacob sings Nine Inch Nails’ Closer! Karaoke Idol Chicago happens every month at Beauty Bar. Find out more.
Disturbing.
Photos from the last Karaoke Idol.
We had fun.
The next one is March 14th. You should go, because it’s fun, dammit.
YOU SHOULD COMPETE.
If you can’t go, the least you could do is like us on facebook, or share this damn post.

ps
sorry I suck at photographinging
Karaoke Idol is Thursday. If you’re in Chicago, you have to go. I’m ordering you.
Seriously though. Karaoke competitions. What’s better?
Tell your friends tell your wives.
Looking for people to compete at a future Karaoke Idol, which takes place at Beauty Bar every month.
You’d need to represent an organization.
Basically, five of the six contestants are representatives of non-profitish organizations. The winners get a piece of the door (cash money dolla billzs ya’all) to donate to their organization. We have a pretty broad interpretation of “organization.” Basically, if you do cool things, that tends to meet our requirements.
Maybe you help fund tutoring for kids, or print a really cool zine, or volunteer at a sweet, organic farm, you should compete…
